While I invite anyone to follow my public posts, and will often follow back, I reserve the right to limit my access list to people I feel comfortable sharing my "real life" with. If I don't give you access, or if I gave it but then removed it, it doesn't mean I don't like you or anything dramatic like that, but rather it's just a matter of creating a place where I can talk about "life" stuff without fear of judgement, drama, or other stressful shenanigans.
